During industry conference Sakura-Con 2024, Ize Press announced the upcoming English print of the Korean webcomic Semantic Error. The popular manhwa series Boys' Love will have its first English print release after being serialized on the webcomic platform Manta.
Webcomic manhwa Semantic Error is adapted by artist Angy, based on the original BL web novel written by J. Soori. The film has also inspired two media adaptations, including a four-episode animated short series released in 2021 and a live-action Korean television series released in 2022. The live-action film and its cast won several awards in Korea, such as the Grand Bell Award, Blue Dragon Series Award, and APAN Star Award.
