Official Twitter account Helck revealed a new trailer for the anime’s second season on September 16, 2023, previewing the new opening theme song.

Episode 1 of the anime begins airing on July 12, 2023.

Helck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Nanaki Nanao. It was serialized on Shogakukan’s Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app from May 2014 to December 2017, with the chapters collected into 12 tankobon volumes.
In June 2022, Viz Media announced that they had licensed the series for publication in English.
A spin-off manga titled Piwi: Fushigi na Ikimono was serialized on the MangaONE app from July 16 to October 8, 2018. A prequel manga titled Völundio: Divergent Sword Saga began serialization on the Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app on August 31, 2020. The story has been collected into three tankōbon volumes as of February 2022.
