Tetsuro Kuroo from Haikyuu fame!! series was appointed by the Japan Volleyball Association (JVA) as a special section head for the association's public relations department. This was announced through the JVA's official X (Twitter) page, with president Shunichi Kawai signing the appointment.

According to JVA, a special project led by Tetsuro Kuroo will begin on April 2, although at the time of writing no details about this project have been revealed. It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Haikyuu!! The character was chosen for the ambassador role, as the Argentine volleyball team UPCN Vóley Club announced in 2020 that Toru Oikawa had been “signed” by the club as an official player.
The announcement follows the recent theatrical release of the film Haikyuu: The Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump, which recently recorded box office receipts of approximately 81.9 billion yen. Production IG has animated it and it will be divided into two parts and completely adapted from the manga. The film serves as a sequel to the fourth season of the anime series.

Haikyu!! Trash Battle – New Trailer
Haikyuu!! is based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2012 to 2020. The manga ended after 405 chapters, compiled into 45 volumes. The series has four seasons, the first season aired from April to September 2014, the second season from October 2015 to March 2016, the third season from October to December 2016 and the fourth season aired in two seasons: January to April 2020 and October to December 2020.
