GKIDS is bringing Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's Moving Castle back to U.S. theaters for its 20th anniversary this month. They've released new images and trailers to celebrate the occasion. It's part of their ongoing Ghibli Fest 2024, which has featured several films and will feature more later this year.

Howl's Moving Castle was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki at Studio Ghibli, and was first released in Japan in 2004. Joe Hisaishi composed the music. The film is based on the novel of the same name by British author Diana Wynne Jones. The voice cast for the anime film includes:

GKIDS describes the Story:
Sophie, a quiet girl working in a hat shop, finds her life thrown into chaos when she is literally swept away by a handsome but mysterious wizard named Howl. The arrogant and vengeful Witch of the Waste, jealous of their friendship, places a curse on Sophie, transforming her into a 90-year-old woman. In her quest to break the spell, Sophie climbs aboard Howl's magnificent moving castle and is thrust into a new life of wonder and adventure. But when the true power of Howl's magic is revealed, Sophie finds herself fighting to protect them both from a dangerous magical war that threatens their world.
