It was followed by The Comic Artist and His Assistants (and its 10-chapter sequel), which ran from 2008 to 2012 on Young Gangan and had a 12-episode anime from studio Zexcs in 2014.
Aho-Girl was adapted into an anime in 2017: the manga ended in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine the same year after 130 chapters (started in 2012). His most recent work adaptation is also his most recent manga: Girlfriend, Girlfriend. The manga ran from 2020 to May 2023 in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. The first season of the anime premiered in 2021, while the second season will premiere this fall.

He is currently promoting his new work while also dropping hints on the above luxury wristwatches Twitter. It’s also worth nothing that 50 million Japanese yen costs about 339,770 USD.
