Let's start with Saki Ayase's thoughts as Yuuta Asamura helps her study for the remedial exam. At first, she has some self-doubt to the point that Saki is planning to give up on the remedial exam. But thanks to Yuuta's guidance, it seems like Saki has some hope of passing the modern literature test.
Unfortunately, Saki Ayase feels jealous whenever a girl like Shiori Yomiuri is around her stepbrother, so she plans to take a part-time job at a bookstore to keep an eye on Yuuta. Once again, Saki should be extra cautious of Maaya Narasaka because her best friend might develop romantic feelings for Yuuta Asamura.
In any case, summer vacation has arrived when it is confirmed that Saki Ayase is working part-time at the local bookstore.
And so far, Saki is doing her first day when Shiori-sempai praised her work. I have to say that Ayase will be fine working at the bookstore.
