A new trailer has been released for The Fire Hunter Season 2, which begins in Japan on January 14.
The show’s new theme songs have also been revealed. Coco will sing the opening “Hika Rakka”, while the new single “Dakishimete” by Maaya Sakamoto will be the ending. Both are used in the trailer.

Fire Hunter is based on a series of fantasy novels written by Rieko Hinata and illustrated by Akihiro Yamada, published from 2018 to 2020 in 4 volumes. Season 1 ran from January to March this year with 10 episodes and was streamed by Crunchyroll and iQIYI.
Crunchyroll describes the plot as:
Outside the magical barriers lies a world ravaged by magic. the fire beasts are called Fire Demons and the only ones who can protect humanity are the Fire Hunters. In the dark forest where the beasts roam is where Toko, a young villager, is saved from attack by one of these skilled trackers, Koshi. But their meeting was not a coincidence, a new destiny began.
