The social simulation game Umamusume: Pretty Derby is about to be officially released in English.
A release date has yet to be revealed for the in-development title, but the developer Cygames There will be hands-on demos at the Anime Expo 2024 booth. Attendees who stop by to try out the horse-riding girl training game will receive a random Umamusume: Pretty Derby sticker.

In Umamusume: Pretty Derby, you take on the role of a fledgling trainer at the powerhouse Tracen Racing Academy. Your mission is to guide your Umamusume student to victory by guiding her through her training regimen and races. Experience immersive gameplay, captivating stories, heart-pounding races, and exciting concerts—all rendered and animated in stunning 3D. Your racer legend begins now!
Current and future fans can also watch the game's opening cinematic, which features the song “Girls'Legend U,” on the new Umamusume: Pretty Derby English YouTube channel.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby was originally released in February 2021 in Japan for iOS and Android after missing its original launch in 2018. The browser version hosted on DMM Games launched the following month.
The franchise created by Cygames also includes manga, live events, a stage play, and several anime seasons. The first Umamusume manga ran from May to September 2016, while the first anime season debuted in 2018. The latest Umamusume anime is the film Umamusume: Pretty Derby — Beginning of a New Era, which began airing in Japan. Published on May 24, 2024 JST.
In addition to the game's English release for mobile devices, international Umamusume fans also have a group game in development ARC SYSTEM WORKS previously announced is Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash, coming to Switch on August 30, which is worth looking forward to.
