You know, the Dragon Ball author had some pretty shocking ideas that up until now not everyone had the chance to see. The case of “Super Vegeta” below is an example.
The official Dragon Ball website decided to “open the treasure chest” and show fans a sketch of one of the first versions of this epic transformation. Even at that time Toriyama was still skeptical about the name, there were several alternative names noted such as “Saiyan Limit” and “Saiyan Z”.
Speaking of Vegeta, this guy has really come a long way in the Dragon Ball universe. Remember when we first saw “Super Vegeta” in the Cell saga? That scene is absolutely iconic. Vegeta – our favorite anti-hero has almost transformed.
And since then, the Saiyan prince has become more and more powerful, achieving Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan God form, then Super Saiyan Blue in Dragon Ball Super. Not stopping there, Vegeta even reached Ultra Ego, a level of power that would make any God of Destruction think twice before messing with him.
The Dragon Ball saga continues to go strong, with over 100 manga chapters published to date, and it looks like there’s still plenty more to come. Toei Animation is celebrating the franchise’s 40th anniversary with a new series, Dragon Ball Daima, that promises a return to its roots with a greater focus on traditional martial arts.
Additionally, the next game in the series, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, promises to put Goku and Vegeta in the ring once again, showing that their rivalry is more alive than ever.
