Demon Slayer fans feel bad for a very bad man.
Demon Slayer’s third season recently ended with an epic 70-minute finale titled “A Connected Bond: Dawn and First Light”. The final episode concludes “Swordsman Village” with an important reveal that Nezuko is the first and only current demon to survive in the sunlight. When rummaging through Hantengu’s memories and witnessing the miracle there, Muzan’s shirt is ripped open as he transforms from his childish form to his shirtless adult form, revealing the face that made fans fall to their knees to mock.
Demon Slayer fans yearn for Muzan
Muzan fans and newly converted Muzan fans flooded social media platforms when the episode aired. One fan compared the scene from the anime to the anime adaptation, with many praising the direction of making the Muzan anime “hotter” and “WOW” when the anime added a shirtless scene of the demon. The addition made one fan “SO DAMN THIRSTY.” Another dedicated himself to the ancestor of all youkai, who slaughtered hundreds, including the Tanjiro family, shyly writing, “muzan, the blue spider lily is within me.”
Animated and produced by ufotable, Demon Slayer aired the first episode of Season 3 on April 9, 2023. The first episode, “Someone’s Dream” featured an hour-long premiere in which the character was Tanjiro Kamado himself makes his way to the Blacksmith’s Village to find his swordsmith out to help forge a new sword after he breaks the last sword in Season 2. Meanwhile, Muzan gathers the remaining demons. from his Twelve Kizuki to launch another attack on the demon slayers, sending Hantengu and Gyokko to the village.
After the conclusion of Season 3, Demon Slayer announced a sequel to the television anime, which is adapted from the “Training Hashira” season. A promotional video was released, showing Hashira’s beautiful main image, highlighting the Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, the Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, the Gyomei Himejima Rock Hashira, the Obanai Iguro Snake Hashira, and the Sanemi Shinazugawa Wind Hashira. No details around the launch date have been announced.
