Crunchyroll confirmed to ANN on Friday that the website and mobile app for its digital comic distribution service ‘Crunchyroll Manga’ will no longer be available after December 11.
Crunchyroll stated to ANN about the removal:
As part of Crunchyroll’s ongoing commitment to providing fans with the best experiences surrounding their favorite series, we will discontinue the Crunchyroll manga app on December 11 on web and mobile. However, fans looking to explore new manga adventures can head to the Crunchyroll Store, which currently offers over 17,000 manga across multiple genres.
Fans can also enjoy other benefits of becoming a Crunchyroll Mega Fan or Ultimate Fan member, including the Crunchyroll Game Vault, which includes a growing catalog of free-to-play titles on iOS and Android.
The company previously sent an email to users informing them that “Starting November 7, 2023, digital manga will no longer be available on Crunchyroll,” but the service is still available as of now. Reply.
