Crunchyroll announced that it will begin streaming a four-part documentary on Studio Bones to celebrate the studio’s 25th anniversary starting February 13, 2024.
The four parts include The History of Bones, Style and Originality, Successful Adaptation, and Metallic Rouge: The Future of Bones.
With title BONES 25: DREAMING FORWARD, each documentary episode will be 24 minutes long. It is produced by Crunchyroll in association with French production company DeltaRocket.
The trailer and images were revealed along with the announcement.

The documentary will feature interviews with 30 industry figures including president Masahiko Minami, author Mob Psycho 100 ONE, directed by Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop , Space Dandy), creator Bungo Stray Dogs Kafka Asagiri et Metallic Rouge staff Motonobu Hori (director) and Yutaka Izubuchi (author and series concept writer).
BONES President Masahiko Minami expressed his enthusiasm for the documentary, saying: “We want to build a place where we can find new forms of expression, new genres and themes new through the creative process. Looking back, I am extremely happy and grateful to rediscover the works we have been creating with our wonderful friends.”
