Crunchyroll announced that they will be participating in the Mela! Mela! Anime Japan (MMAJ), a cultural event organized by the Japanese Consulate in Delhi, will take place from September 28 to 29, 2024 at Pacific Mall.
At the Crunchyroll booth, visitors can enjoy interactive experiences like the BLUE LOCK Game, where they can compete for prizes. A special photo station will also be available for fans to take photos and create memories.
One of the main highlights was an exclusive fan screening of the first episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira training arc.
Crunchyroll is also bringing live entertainment from Japan. Spira Spica will perform anime songs and DJ Kazu, who recently wowed the crowd at Mumbai Comic Con, will spin hit anime on both days.
As an aside, all fans who visit the Crunchyroll booth will receive an exclusive goodie bag filled with anime goodies.
Mela! Mela! Japanese animation!! is a unique exhibition and anime combination event endorsed by the Governments of India and Japan, scheduled to take place at Pacific Mall Tagore Garden in West Delhi.
The event will showcase authentic Japanese anime content, including screenings of popular titles such as Suzume, JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, SPY x FAMILY CODE: White and Attack on Titanamong many other things.
Attendees can also enjoy exhibitions of products and services of Japanese companies, along with a variety of food and beverages served by famous Japanese restaurants in the Delhi NCR region.
Hosted by Mela! Mela! Japanese animation!! Steering Committee, the event is supported by Government of India, Government of Japan, Embassy of Japan, Japan Society Delhi and Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in India (JCCII).
The Japan Foundation, Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and JLOX+ are collaborating partners, further enhancing the event's purpose of promoting cultural exchange and promote Japanese content in India.
