Japanese indie developer RainyDollGames announced School Labyrintha new cooperative horror escape game that will launch in Q4 of 2023 for PC via Steam. Steam page of the game was also revealed to coincide with the announcement time.
The game puts the player in the role of four unfortunate students locked in their own school after breaking in in the middle of the night for a challenge. Trapped and seemingly watched by dark entities that always want to keep them inside, the students must make their way out of the ever-changing and seemingly changing school corridors with every turn.
The developers previously developed a similar scam-like escape game titled Unknown Pyramid that was released in February of this year. School Labyrinth is the second project for the developer and will feature a soundtrack by composer Soutarou Otogi.
The game’s text will support multiple languages including English, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, German, Korean and Simplified Chinese.

Players will begin each escape attempt with a random amount of items and resources and will pass a randomly generated school version to evade threats as they go. The trailer also shows that the player characters have stamina bars that must be managed to be able to stand up when terror is near.
The trailer shows one of these stalkers as an anatomy doll, straight out of a science classroom. The doll can be seen staring at players in dimly lit corridors and even banging its fist to get inside the door. While the game supports up to four co-op players, School Labyrinth can also be played entirely alone.
