Fantasy anime Mahoutsukai ni Narenakatta Onnanoko no Hanashi (The Story of a Girl Who Couldn't Become a Magician) has received a new trailer introducing the two main characters Kurumi Mirai and Yuzu Edel. Both are respectively voiced by Hana Hishikawa and Misuzu Yamada.
New employee credits were also revealed. These people include Lily Hoshino (Penguindrum) is the original character designer, Mai Matsuura (Pretty Rhythm's King of Prism, Sirius the Jaeger co-designed the characters) is the character designer, Yoko Shimamura (Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal) as the composer, Kentaro Izumi (A Some Scientific Railgun T) as art director, Mika Funabashi ( Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts ) is the color designer and Yurina Yagi (Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts) is the creative director.

Maho Nare is scheduled to premiere in October 2024. The story will follow Kurumi and Yuzu, one goofy girl who idolizes magicians and the other is the daughter of a prestigious magical family, as they Study at a magical academy with complicated classmates, a suspicious association, and a hidden secret.
The story of Maho Nare is based on the novel submitted by Yuuzuki Akasaka, the novel won Project ANIMA's Isekai/Fantasy category. The ANIMA project is a joint initiative of DeNA, Nippon Cultural Broadcasting, Sotsu and MBS focuses on the production of original television anime, with novels, scripts, manga, and proposals submitted as the basis for these shows. The other categories are Science Fiction/Robot and Children/Games.
The 2021 anime Sakugan comes from the winner of the project's Sci-Fi/Robot category. Game/Kids winner Mevius Dust is inspiring an anime due Doga Kobo manufacture. The ANIMA Project's submission and selection process was conducted from February 2018 to March 2019.
