Izumi Sawano’s I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons light novel series was first self-published in Shosetsuka ni Narou on August 21, 2018, before being picked up in WITHDRAW! The book launched on April 26, 2019. Miru Yumesaki provided the art for the light novel, which ended up being two novels. The manga adaptation drawn by Uri SUGATA was published in PASH UP! magazine since March 2020. The manga’s fifth volume will be released on November 2, 2023. The entire series has over 1.2 million copies in circulation as of November 2023.
