Chisato Abe’s Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai (The Crow Does Not Choose the Lord) is being adapted into an anime, scheduled to premiere in April 2024. There is no information on the studio but NHK will produce and distribute it. wave of this series. Introductory images are out now:
Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai is the second installment in Abe’s Yatagarasu fantasy novel series. A manga adaptation by Tsumi Matsuzaki began serialization in 2020 in Kodansha’s Evening magazine, before being moved to the Comic Days app in 2021.
The prequel, Karasu ni Hitoe wa Niawanai was also serialized as a manga on the Comic Days platform from 2018 to 2020. Kodansha is publishing the series in English, under the title A Raven for All Seasons, on K-MANGA application, which describes the plot as:
