Classroom of the Elite Season 3 has released a new key image ahead of its premiere in January 2024. The new key image features class D Kiyotaka Ayanokoji and class A Arisu Sakayanagi along with some familiar faces belongs to another. Studio Lerche will return to produce animation for the third season.

The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023 but was delayed due to various reasons.
The anime is adapted from the light novel by Shogo Kinugasa. The first season debuted in 2017 and had 12 episodes. The second season, announced along with the third season, had a total of 13 episodes and topped our weekly anime chart in the final week of Summer 2022. after Ayanokoji faced off against Ryuen. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime and they describe the story:
Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei High School, where it is said that 100% of students will go to college or find a job. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of the school’s problem students.
Furthermore, every month, the school rewards students with points with a cash value of 100,000 yen and classes using business licenses. policy allows talking, sleeping and even vandalism in class.
One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth about the system being used in their school…
