In an interesting turn of events, mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi’s Hunter x Hunter took to his Twitter account on October 2, 2023 to share the latest updates on the series. This marks his first update in about seven months, following his last update on March 9, 2023.
The highly anticipated post he shared features a preview of the draft of Hunter x Hunter latest chapter with the caption “Starting again”.
Within minutes of his return, “Togashi-sensei” began trending on Twitter.
Hunter x Hunter The manga took a break after publishing chapter 400 on December 18, 2022.
In the issue of Weekly Shonen Jump where the chapter was released, the editorial board explained, “Regarding the publication of the series ‘HUNTER×HUNTER’ from issue 401 onwards, taking into account Togashi-sensei’s health and other issues . other factors, we consulted with Sensei and the editorial department and decided to make it available to everyone in a form other than weekly publication in the future.”
On March 9, 2023, he announced the completion of volume 401 of the Hunter x Hunter manga on his official Twitter account.

Hunter × Hunter is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshihiro Togashi. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since March 1998, although the manga has been on regular, extended hiatuses since 2006.
Its chapters have been collected into 37 tankobon volumes as of November 2022.
Hunter × Hunter was adapted into a 62-episode anime television series produced by Nippon Animation and directed by Kazuhiro Furuhashi, which aired on Fuji Television from October 1999 to March 2001.
Three separate original video animations (OVAs) totaling 30 episodes were subsequently produced by Nippon Animation and released in Japan from 2002 to 2004.
Madhouse’s second anime television series aired on Nippon Television from October 2011 to September 2014, totaling 148 episodes, with two theatrical anime films released in 2013.
