Yen Press describes the story:
Tenderened by a past long forgotten, determined to save what she once loved.
The fire was lit. A nameless woman wakes up. Awakened from her grave by a past she cannot recall, she sets out into a barren, unfamiliar landscape. The guard followed. Bound by oath and honor, he protects her from approaching dangers with the same brutality he does with the secrets of his past. The Gray Cinders gathered in their tower, called by the fire to fulfill their solemn duty. A giant, death incarnate, was stirring among the skeletons beneath the scarred ground. And a nightmare—a scourge of a bygone era—returns to wreak havoc. The fate of the land hangs in the balance as their journey unfolds in this original DARK SOULS story!
Mana Books released the original version in France on Thursday.
