I've tried my best to keep the review as spoiler-free as possible, but there are certain elements I have to work through when it comes to giving appropriate feedback.

Wind Breaker episode 1 review and summary – Meet Bofurin
Whatever the outcome of the first episode, I am sure that this drama will not disappoint the audience and will become a good show. What is that Bucchigiri for sure?! want to but can't, because Wind Breaker handled the illegal theme in their first episode much better than Bucchigiri?! maybe with their entire season.
The episode begins with our hero dreaming about walking on a tightrope from which he could fall at any moment. Not only that, he is also facing harsh criticism for his fighting scenes and unique appearance. From here it can be said that Sakura is someone who is severely misjudged by society and is shunned by them. It made him so depressed or traumatized that he even had nightmares about it.
But as a tsundere, he couldn't help but deny how much this affected him. He even goes as far as claiming that fighting is the only thing that can free him and that he doesn't need anyone's approval, as being on top is what matters to him.
However, you also understand how good-hearted he is when he saves an unknown girl from being harassed by some thugs. She is a resident of the new town where Sakura recently moved to. There's nothing normal about this town either, as fights and gang wars are a daily occurrence here. On top of that, it's close to one of the most violent schools, where most criminals and thugs study.
It was for this reason that Sakura moved to this place. But what surprised him was that the townspeople did not treat him as usual when they saw him fighting. Thus, his life changes for the better, along with his perception towards society, when he becomes entangled with Bofurin, the town's protector.
What impressed me right away when watching this anime was how good he made the animation look. Cloverworks did an excellent job and created a beautiful anime with very clear fight scenes. The background music along with the opening and ending themes also fit the film's genre very well.

Identify
Of all the Spring 2024 shows released so far, this one looks to be the best at the moment. It has just the right amount of build and intrigue to keep your attention. Plus, the ending of the first episode leaves you craving for more.
Sakura is also not a one-dimensional character as he has his own problems and he is trying his best to fight his demons. I also have a feeling that the side characters will be likable and we're in for a great experience.
