The One Piece manga is currently on a long hiatus after Chapter 1111 – so this is when the new Chapter will be released.
One Piece Manga brings another interesting Chapter this week. The Egghead arc seems to be in its final stages as the Straw Hats get ready to escape the island. Their next destination is Elbaf, as Dory and Brogy have arrived to take them to the Kingdom of the Giants.
As for the Gorosei, they all have demonic forms and unrealistic abilities. Not only can they regenerate their limbs almost instantly, but they also do not take any damage even if they are blown away. Luffy determines they are immortal, but Dory and Brogy cannot completely believe that theory.
Last week, the surprise announcement that the manga would be on an extended hiatus took the entire fandom by surprise. However, because fans were worried about Oda's health, they wholeheartedly supported this decision.
Why is the One Piece manga on a long hiatus?
After One Piece Chapter 1111, which was released on March 24, the manga will go on a three-week hiatus and resume a one-week hiatus after Chapter 1113. The three-week hiatus is due to the author while taking a one-week hiatus after Chapter 1113. 1113 is Golden Week because there will be no new WSJ numbers that week.

In a handwritten letter, Eiichiro Oda wrote: “I'm resting!! And a total of three weeks. I know everyone will be overly worried because of the latest events that happened with Toriyama-sensei, but it's about my body.”
Akira Toriyama's death made Eiichiro Oda extremely sad. Both have admired each other's work for decades. Mangakas often have poor health due to their busy work schedules. This is why immediately after Toriyama's death, Oda decided to take a long rest before continuing to write manga.
Additionally, filming for Netflix's One Piece Season 2 will also keep this mangaka busy for the rest of the year. Needless to say, One Piece fans remain supportive.
