The team behind the live-action One Piece is growing. From the crew to the cast, Netflix is hiring heavily for the second season, now that production has resumed.
All eyes are now on the second season as One Piece will bring some major characters to life. Not long ago, Netflix even confirmed that Joe Manganiello had joined the cast of One Piece and would be portraying Crocodile.
Now, thanks to some fan art, we get to see what Manganiello could look like as the dangerous villain in One Piece.
The above artwork comes from Twitter user K164 X, who has done some clever editing to bring Manganiello to life in the live-action One Piece. The image gives us a good look at what the True Blood star looks like as he takes on the Straw Hats. He's equipped with a hook prosthetic and his suit looks very close to the original.
After seeing the K164 illustration, there's no denying that the Hollywood star fits the Crocodile character perfectly. Season 2 will begin in Loguetown, so the Straw Hats will first meet Manganiello as Mr. 0. This codename existed when Crocodile was the leader of Baroque Works, a mysterious criminal organization with influence throughout Arabasta.
Manganiello admitted that he will be arriving on set soon to begin filming. Meanwhile, many of the cast members have arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, to film season 2 of Netflix's One Piece. Not only will the main cast of One Piece return from season one, but there will also be several new additions.
In addition to the image of Crocodile portrayed by Manganiello, K164 has excellently recreated many other characters of One Piece live-action with the corresponding actors. Please watch below:
