Welcome to Japan, TV anime Ms. Elf (Nihon e Yokoso Erufu-san) has revealed the first teaser trailer, images as well as the main cast and staff. Studio ZERO-G is responsible for the animation, with Toru Kitahata as director. You can watch the teaser trailer below.
Aya Yoshinaga will be responsible for writing and directing the series, while Madoka Hirayama will be the character designer and animation director. As for the cast, Yusuke Kobayashi will voice Kazuhiro Kitase and Kaede Hondo will voice the elf Marie. Both appear in teaser images.
Welcome to Japan, Miss Elf! is a Japanese light novel series written by Makishima Suzuki and illustrated by Yappen. It began being published online in 2017 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, before being acquired by Hobby Japan and receiving the first light novel volume published in August 2018 under their HJ Novels label. There is also a manga adaptation with illustrations by Shimo Aono. Both the light novel and manga have been licensed in English by J-Novel Club, which describes the story: Kazuhiro Kitase’s main hobby is sleeping. From an early age, he entered a dream world and went on exciting adventures. As he grew up, he became acquainted with a female Elf and the two are now united through the Dragon brand! One day, when he woke up, he noticed a familiar figure sleeping next to him… the Elf girl from his dream?! Join Kazuhiro on his new adventure through Japan with the adorable Goblin!
In other news, another light novel that started on the Shosetsukia ni Naro website announced an anime adaptation yesterday, I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic.
