The TV series Good Bye, Dragon Life (Sayonara Ryusei, Konnichiwa Jinsei) has been announced along with teaser trailer, images, main cast and staff. Studios Synergy SP and Vega Entertainment are responsible for the animation, with Kenichi Nishida as director. The anime will premiere in 2024 and you can watch the first trailer below.

Goodbye, Dragon Life – Anime Trailer
Naokatsu Tsuda is in charge of the script, Nozomi Kawashige is designing the characters, and Tatsuhiko Saiki and Hanae Nakamura are in charge of composing the music. The main cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi as Dolan and Hitomi Sekine as Celina. Check out the teaser image below.
Goodbye! Dragon Life – Anime Teaser Visual
The web novel was first released in 2013 with a story by Hiroaki Nagashima and illustrations by Kisuke Ichimaru. AlphaPolis published the first volume of the light novel series in March 2015, while a manga adaptation by Hiroaki Nagashima and Kurono began in December 2015. AlphaPolis will release the series in English through its website. Alpha Manga website and they describe the story:
After living a long life as the strongest and oldest dragon, he was killed by a human hero. He wakes up and finds himself reincarnated as a human, Dolan, in a remote village. He worked hard as a farmer and sometimes hunted for food. His life is simple in this small village but he is surrounded by love. He soon found happiness that he had never experienced in his life as a dragon. However, dangerous monsters have recently been lurking around his village and he goes into the forest to investigate only to discover an army of monsters moving towards him…
