The complete promotional video for the anime “Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange,” adapted from Masahito Soda and Kuro Tomiyama’s “Megumi no Daigo: Kyūkoku no Orange” manga, has been released on the official website.
Additionally, the website announced that the first episode will be shown as a preview in Toronto, during both Fan Expo Canada this weekend and Anime Toronto next weekend. During the screening of Anime Toronto, Takeshi Takadera, the sound director, will also participate in a panel discussion.

This first episode previously premiered at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in July, as well as at Anime Revolution in Vancouver last weekend.

The much-anticipated anime series will premiere on YTV and NTV channels on September 30 at 5:30 p.m. KST. JST (4:30 a.m. EDT). At the same time, Crunchyroll will stream the show as it airs in Japan.

An overview of Crunchyroll’s series is as follows:
Embark on a journey with three young firefighters known as Japan’s saviors as they nurture their spirit and abilities.
Toake Daigo, driven by unmatched determination, radiates talent excellence. Onoda Shun grapples with the barriers that stand in his way.
Meanwhile, Nakamura Yuki wishes to join a select few in the “Orange” special rescue team, breaking gender norms. As the trio, united by their Orange ambitions, converge, the story unfolds about the beginning of Japan’s impending rescue mission. However, looming before them is a nationwide crisis, putting the whole country in danger!
The series supervisor at Brains Base is director Masahiko Murata (known for Naruto Shippūden and To Your Eternity). In charge of the character designs are Hitomi Tsuruta (from World Trigger) and Koji Yabuno (from the famous Space Brothers). The series’ director is Shinzō Fujita (also credited to To Your Eternity).
The manga, which was first launched in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in October 2020 by Soda and Tomiyama, has been well received. Notably, Viz Media released all 20 volumes of Soda’s original Firefighter! Daigo of Fire Company M (Megumi no Daigo) manga.

The manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from 1995 to 1999.
