The old man continued his talk and revealed that if the people of Vinland are safe, they should prepare to evacuate while they can. What happened in Mrklan was bound to happen in Vinland too, so someone had to warn them. They could not coexist with the indigenous people, so everyone had to flee from Vinaland before the war broke out.
