The fourth visual for the upcoming Unnamed Memory anime series has been released, featuring a new character named Lanak, voiced by Junichi Yanagita.
Studio ENGI is making the film under the direction of Kazuya Miura. Deko Akao is handling the script and Chika Nomi is in charge of character design. Akito Matsuda is composing music. The anime’s cast includes:
- Yoshiki Nakajima as Oscar
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Tinasha
- Shuichiro Umeda as Lazar
- YukoNatsuyoshi as Sylvia
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Meredina
- Takuya Sato plays the role Ars
- Kohei Amasaki as Curve
- Chitose Morinaga as Narc
- Ayako Kawasumi as Lucrezia
The anime series Untitled Memory was originally scheduled to air in 2023 but was later delayed to this year due to production issues. It is based on a light novel series written by Kuji Furumiya and first published on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in September 2012 before being acquired by ASCII Media Works.
The novel eventually received illustrations by Chibi and was published under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei label. It ran from January 2019 to April 2021 and had a total of six episodes. It also received a manga adaptation in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Daioh magazine with illustrations by Naoki Koshimizu.
Yen Press licensed both the light novels and the manga in English, describing the plot as “The champion’s dream is that you can come down from the tower and be my wife.” Climbing a deadly tower, Oscar seeks the power of its master, the Azure Moon Witch. He hopes her incredible magic can break the curse that will kill any woman he marries. However, when the prince saw how beautiful Tinasha was, he had a better idea – since she was definitely strong enough to survive his curse, she should marry him instead. there! Tinasha is not keen on the idea but agrees to live with Oscar in the royal castle for a year while researching the spell cast on the prince. The witch’s beautiful face has hidden dark secrets for many lifetimes, however, the secrets begin to surface…
