The TRANSFORMERS media franchise is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, and a special animated video project from studio TRIGGER is being produced to celebrate the milestone. The trailer released is fairly explicit, but still shows off some familiar Transformers in battle. The project is said to be 'coming soon', and you can watch the teaser trailer below.

The TRANSFORMERS franchise was created by American toy company Hasbro and Japanese toy company Takara Tomy in 1984. The company began with the Transformers toy line, which included Takara's diaclone transforming mecha toys and the Micro Change toy line rebranded for the Western market. It has since expanded in many directions, spawning anime adaptations, live-action films, video games, comics, and other media.
Studio TRIGGER is a famous Japanese studio founded in August 2011. Some of their popular anime titles include Kill la Kill, Little Witch AcadeKaren, Darling in the Franxx (co-produced with A-1 Pictures), SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon, Delicious in Dungeon, Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt Season 2 and CYBERPUNK: EDGERUNNERS. Their upcoming anime are Delicious in Dungeon Season 2 and the new Panty & Stocking anime.
