On X, the official Japanese Transformers account shared a short promotional video, produced by Studio Trigger. Known for Kill la Kill, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, and Star Wars: Visions, the animation studio is known for delivering high-quality sci-fi projects. The change is nothing short of remarkable, taking the Hasbro/Takara Tomy brand into a surprising new phase.
This year, Transformers celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking a major milestone for the franchise. Fans have been able to see the original animated series in theaters, while media projects continue to expand with animated series and films.
Transformers and Studio Trigger Collaboration Has Huge Potential
