The official website for the Naruto anime franchise announced on Tuesday that the premiere of four “brand new” anime episodes will be delayed to improve their quality, and that the anime’s production team will reveal more information about the upcoming anime series. During this time, select episodes of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will be rebroadcast. The episodes were originally scheduled to premiere on September 3 and air weekly for four consecutive weeks.

These episodes mark the anime’s 20th anniversary, celebrating its October 2002 premiere.
FLOW will be performing their 20th anniversary performance of “GO!!!” as the opening theme song, with a cover of Orange Range’s “Viva Rock” as the ending theme.
The Naruto franchise includes many original television anime, cartoons, and anime videos. The original Naruto television anime aired from 2002 to 2007. The sequel, Naruto Shippūden, ran from 2007 to 2017.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, the next manga by Ukyō Kodachi and Mikio Ikemoto, premiered in Weekly Shonen Jump in May 2016, running monthly until moving to Shueisha’s V Jump magazine in July 2019. Masashi Kishimoto, the original Naruto manga creator, took over as the author in November 2020. After a hiatus in April, the manga resumed on August 21 with a “second part” titled Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

The Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime premiered on TV Tokyo in April 2017. The anime’s “Part I” ended with episode 293 on March 26, paving the way for “Part II” of the series.
