ACIDMAN, whose members are all fans of the original manga, created a song specifically for the movie. Singer and composer Nobuo Ōki recalled receiving a request for a theme song shortly before a concert and that he immediately had an idea for the song. Not wanting to lose his inspiration, he excused himself to go to the bathroom so he could record his ideas on a voice memo.
