New Isekai cartoon, As a reincarnated noble, I will use my assessment skills to rise in the world, just broke out its own innovative formula involving the unique appraisal skill of the same name to create completely new and impressive images. Most series, even outside of isekai, often use Appraisal as a means for the main character to “cheat” their way to success, portraying them as misunderstood or actually quite worthless until when an ability is enhanced in some way to benefit the hero.
Not only is this version of the Appraisal special and recognized as such, but the first four episodes revolve around Ars Louvent using the Appraisal as a means to help others, not just himself. Of course, Ars is also trying to surround himself with talented people to avoid war, but, in each case, every character he reviews faces some hardship such as discrimination, poverty severe hunger or being considered the black sheep of the family, And His efforts in recruiting them ultimately saved them.
However, as of episode #5, Ars does not use Appraisal to recruit some unfortunate soul, but rather to understand his betrothedand how both he and she react to his assessments creating a dramatic visual like when Ars saves the characters from a terrible life.

Essentially, Ars and his fiancée, Licia Plaid, might not have been able to connect without the complications and barriers that Ars' Appraisal ability initially created when they first met. Because upon seeing her high numbers, Ars immediately became suspicious and paranoid about her true intentions. Later, when Licia opens up to Ars after a series of shaky first meetings, she reveals that the mistrust Ars showed led him to become the first person to overcome his own special abilities to help people feel comfortable.
This is notable, as Ars explicitly admitted to himself that he would have acted differently (i.e. not been suspicious) if he had never seen her special skills. So everything that happened from that point forward was a direct result of how Ars' Appraisal skill affected them both.
Essentially, Ars and his fiancee Licia Plaid might not have connected if it weren't for the complications and roadblocks that Ars' Appraisal ability initially created when they first met.
To some extent, the Appraiser's ability to make Ars suspicious is clearly enough to create interest or curiosity in Licia about her betrothed to try to understand him rather than just trick him. aside (which Licia reveals she may have done). It also naturally set in motion certain events that led to her speaking privately with Ars, during which they strengthened their relationship. What's much more impressive is that it all happened thanks to Appraisal, resulting in a stronger iconic image.
So while many viewers were impressed by how the anime innovated on the usual use of Appraisal by using it as a bridge for Ars to help those in need, these fans were definitely Surely also admire this latest change in formula in the latest episode of As a reincarnated noble, I will use my assessment skills to rise in the world.
