A television anime adaptation of the light novel series The Daily Life of a Middle-Aged Online Shopper in Another World has been announced and is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
A new teaser image and 32-second trailer for the film have been released, confirming the casting of Junichi Suwabe as Ken'ichi.

The anime is based on the isekai light novel series, written by Hifumi Asakura and illustrated by Yamakawa. It was first published by SB Creative and Tugikuru Corporation's Tugikuru Books imprint on May 10, 2018, and has released three volumes as of April 2019. It originally began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro from September 13, 2017 to June 24, 2021.

A light novel adaptation of Umiharu's manga was serialized in Square Enix's Monthly G Fantasy magazine from April 18, 2019 to May 17, 2024. A total of seven tankōbon volumes have been released. Comikey has licensed the manga for digital release in English, and it is also currently available on Square Enix's Manga Up! service.

Ken'ichi, a single man in his late 40s, is suddenly transported to another world. As he makes his way through the dangerous forests of that world, he discovers that he can use a giant online shopping site. Ken'ichi wants to use his cheating abilities to live a slow life in another world!
