Character introductions for Anime Soldier In Chains was released on November 17, 2023, featuring Akari Kito in the role Kyouka Uzen. Seven Arcs studio’s anime will premiere in January 2024.

This latest Chained Soldier update follows the trailer released at last year’s Jump Festa ’23. It was revealed that Tomori Kusunoki, Sayaka Senbongi and Rina Hidaka joined the cast as Aoba Wakura, Koko Zenibako and Naon Yuno respectively. Kyouka Uzen took center stage in key visuals released last month, which featured the rest of the Demon Defense Force.
Chained Soldier is directed by Junji Nishimura (main director) and Goro Kuji. The series is written by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, Ryota Kano and Akira Kindaichi, with music by Kohta Yamamoto. The anime was originally scheduled to premiere in 2023 but was delayed to January 2024. Chained Soldier adapted from Akame ga Kill Takahiro’s Mato Seihei no Slave manga was published on Shueisha’s Jump+ platform .
Yen Press publishes the manga in English, described as: Decades ago, a portal to another world and dangerous space known as Mato—“Demon City”—appeared across Japan . Those who participate in growing “peach” there will gain unique abilities—but only if they are girls. When high school student Yuuki Wakura gets trapped in a portal, he is saved by Kyouka Uzen, the beautiful commander of the 7th division of the Demon Defense Force, who…orders him to become her slave. ?!
