[…] Honey and Clover is the mantra I have used to continually rekindle the fire in my life. Everything was consumed by the fire and in that field burned [đó là cuộc sống của tôi], only Honey and Clover remained. It’s a story that I love.

When I drew the final chapter—when the final episode came out—Honey and Clover were the last things left in that burned field. The characters live inside but everyone is trapped inside those now closed pages. I was left in the office alone, unable to speak. It was a feeling that couldn’t be expressed in words. I cannot move.
