So we start this episode with a dark plot where a group of mysterious people kidnap a pack of wolf cubs. Why would someone do that?
Well, there is someone who will kidnap those wolf cubs as an imprisoned werewolf, never to see his children again.
With that said, it really is Lizbeth Sargant. Why did she kidnap their child? We will never know for sure.
However, Lizbeth kidnapping innocent children just to force her parents to commit heinous crimes on her behalf is quite despicable.
Anyway, this is the wolf woman where she laments the death of her husband while longing to see her child again.
On the other hand, this is Marielle, where she notices the howl of a werewolf but more importantly, Marielle has a companion.
This is Izak, a werewolf who suddenly shed tears after hearing the cry of the female wolf. Come to think of it, maybe Izak is one of the missing wolf children? Maybe.
But let’s go back to the English College where Chise Hatori tries to carry Philomela Sargant to her room instead of going to the infirmary. However, Philomela questions Chise’s selfless actions when she tells her classmates to doubt her.
While Philomela Sargent is working under her grandmother Lizbeth, meaning she is shadowing both Chise Hatori and Zoe Ivy, Chise is not. I don’t consider Philomela an enemy.
On the other hand, there is Lucy Webster, who despite having some grudge against Philomela due to her involvement in the Webster family massacre, she did not harbor any extreme hatred towards Philomela when Lucy gave it to her. That’s a bottle of water.
With that said, it looks like they’re done taking care of Philomela since Chise and Lucy are going to their next class. Let’s hope that she recovers.
But speaking of Philomela, she received a text message from her grandmother via Alcyone, saying that she was really disappointed in her granddaughter. How the hell did Lizbeth secretly send messages before the lockdown?
Anyway, Lizbeth is really angry with Philomela because she would abandon her niece. What’s worse is that Philomela won’t be able to see her parents again after Lizbeth forbids her from returning home.
Either way, Philomela Sargent is kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place because she has to regain her grandmother’s trust or she’ll never see her parents again. God, Lizbeth really wanted to spit on her own niece for failing!
Now let’s return to both Marielle and Izak, where they are searching for clues to the cursed book’s whereabouts. And by the way, Izak turned into a wolf just to let you know.
Anyway, they turned to a local magician for assistance, but it came at a cost as he wanted some money for his services. Luckily, Marielle had enough cash to pay him.
Of course, his methods are quite messy as he puts his finger inside Marielle’s brain, just to peer into her mind.
The local shaman understands Marielle’s request, though, and he helps her out by sending a large swarm of bees to find the culprit. I wish him luck!
Now let’s return to the English College, where Chise Hatori greets Philomela Sargent and her fairy friend Alcyone.
However, Philomela is afraid of being approached by Chise because of her evil grandmother. If only there was some way to rescue Philomela from this dangerous situation.
One last thing, one of the gatekeepers sent a message to Liza Quillyn and she learned something interesting.
It turns out the holder of The Testament of Carnamagos is still in the English College, meaning Elias and the rest of the teaching staff have a chance to stop the culprit.
Of course, that culprit is still out there siphoning off someone’s mana, but I hope that the criminal will be caught soon. With that said, see you next time!
