Kairan Quazi, born in 2009 in Pleasanton, California, became the youngest employee at SpaceX’s Starlink division, a company run by Elon Musk.
On June 17, Quazi will graduate from Santa Clara University and will move with her mother to Redmond, Washington to work for SpaceX as a software engineer.
Quazi shared on LinkdedIn about this information and said that SpaceX is “the most amazing company on the planet” and does not rely on age to judge the ability and maturity of people.
Quazi has an extraordinary learning process and is considered a prodigy. He could speak a complete sentence at the age of two. When he was in kindergarten, he often told news stories on the radio to teachers and friends.
At the age of 9, Quazi entered a community college in California and felt that he was studying at the level he wanted. Later, Quazi entered Intel Labs for an internship as a research associate member. At the age of 11, he studied computer science and engineering at Santa Clara University.
Quazi used to work for 4 months at Blackbird.AI, a threat monitoring company, designing an anomaly detection and statistics system to warn of manipulated social media content.
The 14-year-old engineer said that working at a big technology company is not about losing childhood as people think. His dream is to solve challenging problems as well as create innovation for the common good and working at Starlink department makes it possible for him to make it happen.
