Surrounded by the hateful gazes of the people, the selfish princess of the fallen Tearmoon Empire, Karen, took one last look at the bleeding sun before the guillotine blade fell… Only to wake up again turned into a twelve-year-old girl! When time turns back and a second chance at life falls on her lap, she sets out to correct the countless mistakes that plague the ailing Empire. Governance corruption? Check. Border trouble? Check. Natural disasters and economic conflicts? Check. Mine, seems like a lot of work. Hard work and Karen don’t get along, so she seeks the help of others, starting with her loyal handmaiden, Anne, and the brilliant minister, Ludwig. Together, they work day and night to restore the Empire. Little by little, their tireless efforts began to change the course of history, propelling the entire continent towards a new future. And why did the selfish princess change her mind? Simply-she didn’t. She’s just afraid of the guillotine. They hurt like hell, and Karen hated pain more than work.
