Travis Japan Performs Ending Song 'Fly Higher' for Season 2 of Anime
The staff of the anime based on Taiga Miyakawa's Tasūketsu manga revealed the anime's second full promotional video and ending theme song for the second semester (quarter of the year) on Tuesday. The video reveals and previews Travis Japan's ending theme song “Fly Higher.”

The anime staff also revealed a character image of Kai Kasai, voiced by Travis Japan member Noel Kawashima. Kai Kasai will appear in the second season:

The anime's production staff revealed on Saturday that Aina Aiba will perform the new ending theme song “REASONS.”

The anime premiered on NTV on July 2 at 25:59 JST (actually July 3 at 1:59 AM JST). It was then aired on BS NTV and RAB Aomori Broadcasting Corporation channels on July 3. The anime ran for two consecutive episodes.

The manga was ranked in the top 10 on the “manga we want to see animated” rankings at Anime Japan 2019 and Anime Japan 2020.
The first part of the Tasūketsu manga debuted in 2013 and ended in 2014. The second part of the Tasūketsu: FINAL KEQ manga debuted in 2015 and ended in 2017. Tasūketsu: Judgement Assizes, the third part of the manga, premiered on GANMA! in November 2017.
The manga's story follows a group of five people in a world where humans suddenly disappeared. A mysterious, self-proclaimed “Emperor” gathers the five people together through anonymous messages and asks them to participate in a game. Participants answer the question “Do you want to live or die?” The game has only one rule: “The majority die.”
The manga previously inspired a short anime Tasūketsu: Judgment Assizes that was funded through the Campfire crowdfunding campaign in 2020. The short anime released in January 2021 and featured a different cast in this new project.
