Ai Kakuma voices the character in the anime released in January
The official website for the television anime adaptation of the manga Maybe’s Tales of Wedding Rings (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) released a video and character image of Saphir on Friday. The site will release new character videos and images each week, and previous videos have featured the characters Satō, Hime, Nephrites, and Granart.

The anime will premiere in January 2024 and will air on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV and BS11.
The anime’s previously announced main cast includes:
Takashi Naoya (Real Girl) is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment, Deko Akao (After the Rain) is in charge of the script and Saori Nakashiki (The Great Jahy Will Not Be Defeated!) is designing the characters.
Crunchyroll is publishing the manga in English digitally and describes the story:
When Hime, Sato’s childhood friend, suddenly says goodbye, he chases after her and finds himself in a fantasy world!! There Sato married Hime and became the legendary hero, the King of the Ring!! Amnesia’s Maybe Twilight Girl brings you an out-of-this-world newlywed romantic comedy!!
The author duo Maybe (Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts) launched the manga in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine in March 2014. The manga’s 10th compiled book volume was revealed in January. 2021 that the manga would continue “just a little longer.” Square Enix later revealed in July 2021 that the manga would reach its climax in August 2021.
Yen Press is publishing the manga in print in English.
