Kaji plays a member of a mysterious organization
The official website for Synduality: Noir, the television anime from Bandai Namco Entertainment, Bandai Namco Filmworks and Bandai Spirits’ Synduality project, revealed on Wednesday that Yuuki Kaji is joining the anime’s cast as Weisheit, members of a mysterious organization moving behind the scenes in the story. This character will appear in episode 11 next Monday.

The anime premiered on July 10. Disney+ is streaming the anime exclusively worldwide when it airs in Japan.
While the game is set in the Year 2222, the anime is set 20 years later in the year 2242.

The game of the franchise is titled Synduality: Echo of Ada and is a third-person shooter game that will release this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X| S and PC via Steam.

The year is 2222. Many years have passed since Tears of the New Moon, a mysterious rain fell and wiped out almost all of humanity. The poisonous rain gave birth to deformed creatures that ate humans, and humanity fled from danger. As a means of survival, humans then built an underground shelter; Amasia. In this newly built dark city, in their pursuit of maintaining their existence, they come across an Artificial Intelligence named Magus. Not knowing how things will turn out between them, the story of how Human and AI coincided and tried to find out their truth begins.
The franchise will also have a manga spin-off titled Synduality: Ellie, focusing on the main character, which will launch in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine in the September issue on July 26. Hiroshi Mishima will draw manga. The manga will also have a novel released under Kadokawa’s MF Bunko J label. The franchise will also have a separate “photo story” novel spinoff titled Synduality: Kaleido, which will debut in Hobby Japan’s monthly Hobby Japan magazine in the September issue on July 25.
