The ISEKAI Suicide Squad anime will begin airing in Japan on July 5. A 30-second version of the film's third trailer was released alongside the news.
The anime series is based on the DC Comics anti-villain movie. hero/supervillain team Suicide Squad, which inspired two live-action films and the heist-shooter video game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The official summary is:
In crime-ridden Gotham City, Amanda Waller, head of ARGUS, has assembled a group of notorious criminals for a mission: Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface and King Shark. These Super Villains are sent to another world connected to this world through a portal. It is a world of swords and magic, where fierce orcs and dragons rule the skies—an “ISEKAI”!
