Studio Bones’ anniversary project, Metallic Rouge, recently released a new teaser trailer that showcases many of the landmarks that fans have come to love throughout the iconic animation studio’s 25-year run. Despite being defined in many ways by some of the biggest anime adaptations in Soul Eater, Mob Psycho, My Hero AcadeKaren, Bones president Masahiko Minami told animation blog Comprehensive that the studio’s heart remains unchanged. . Original anime like Eureka Seven and the pairing of the female duo who entered the world in Carole & Tuesday reappear in Metallic Rouge:

Metallic Rouge – Character introduction
“I do not think [hình ảnh của chúng tôi] changed so much. Every year or two we do an original anime and then there are adaptations as well. Of course, they’re always big hits, but I wouldn’t necessarily say they’re more popular… I mean, a lot of people would say we’re “My Hero AcadeKaren’s Bones,” but to the core fans ours, we’re still “Space Dandy’s Bones”, “Carole & Tuesday’s Bones” or “AICO’s Bones”, so you know…,” Minami said.
Yasushi Muraki (Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution 3) is now confirmed to be working on Metallic Rouge following the new trailer, but an interview with Minami makes it clear that he’s been there from the beginning.
“They’re in Metallic Rouge right now. Working on Eureka, people like Yasushi Muraki, who specializes in drawing robots and mechanical action, became central to studio E, to the point where it is now a defining feature of the studio.“

Bones is famously divided into several sub-studios, whose structure Minami goes into more depth about in the full interview. Studio E handled all of Eureka Seven’s films, but while it was a fully mechanical manipulation, Metallic Rouge chose to switch to a mechanical style, bringing the film closer to another Bones work. .
“Well, we have Metallic Rouge coming out, but I guess it’s closer to the “transforming hero” genre because the armor is human-sized. Xam’d: Lost Memories also involves such transformations. So there are a lot of Kamen Riders and Sentai in there,” he said.

A world where humans and robots coexist – Robot girl Rouge is on a mission to Mars with her friend Naomi.
That mission was to “destroy 9 anti-government robots”. The story of the war of the robot girl Rouge begins.
