The visual novel Steins;Gate will celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. Among many recent commemorative initiatives, MAGES has now released a video looking back at entries in the series, from the 2009 original and its spin-offs to the mid-series Steins;Gate 0 and its remake, Steins;Gate Elite.
Finally, it was a message thanking fans for their support and also saying “STEINS;GATE will continue.” At the beginning of the second part of that message, the video ends with a phone ringing, providing another vague teaser for fans of the series.

Steins;Gate was first released for Xbox 360 in October 2009. The science fiction visual novel, part of the Science Adventure series, inspired a 2011 anime television series and a 2013 animated film, as well as other media such as manga. Steins;Gate 0 also has its own anime adaptation.
Steam describes the game as follows:
STEINS;GATE follows a group of young tech-savvy students who discover a means of changing the past through the mail, using a modified microwave oven. Their experiments on how far they can go with their discovery begin to spiral out of control when they become entangled in a conspiracy surrounding SERN, the organization behind the Large Hadron Collider and John Titor, who claims to come from a dystopian future.
Interaction with the game takes place through a “phone activation” system where the player can receive calls and text messages and decide whether or not to answer them, which changes the plot outcome of the game.
Anime Trending recently had the chance to chat with Steins;Gate producer Tatsuya Matsubara, so stay tuned for our upcoming interview.
