Spy x Family’s elegant collaboration with a prominent fashion brand on Anya-themed heels was in the works but is currently out of stock.
Spy x Family has just launched an elegant Anya-themed high heel shoe in collaboration with fashion brand Mayla.
Mayla has now opened pre-orders for the “Mayla Spy x Family Iconique Shoes Objet Pumps” — a collaboration that was teased back in November. The pre-order window opens from February 1 to February 29, 2024 , closes at midnight. The heel is 5cm high and is covered in suede as well as the outside, while the ribbon is made of polyester. The shoes below are priced around $185 and are selling out quickly; Earliest shipment will arrive in May, early and late April delivery times are sold out. Mayla teases the collaboration as “A story in which unique characters face hardships as a family while harboring secrets from each other. If we express that charm through Mayla’s worldview… Enjoy our art collection that will make your heart flutter.” Next to the shoes is a box containing images of the “Spy x Family worldview” as well as an acrylic stand. Mayla previously worked with Spy x Family on Anya-themed hoodies that featured black hair ornaments resembling the horns and peanut images she often referenced in the series. They have also worked on other fictional characters and series, including new Hatsune Miku-themed high heels and the Violet Evergarden brand.
Spy x Family and fashion always go hand in hand
Spy x Family is quickly becoming the face of fashion in Japan, from clothing collaborations to magazine covers, such as Anya and Becky’s appearance on Non-No. Just as the shoes are available worldwide, so is the franchise’s first console game after Bandai Namco announced the worldwide release date of Spy x Family: Operation Memories. Likewise, the game will allow fans to dress Anya and the Forger family in more than 80 items as they go on fashion outings.
