Similar to the anime, Solo Leveling: Arise Kang Taeshik's speed and strength prove extremely dangerous to his opponents. However, the Arise developers at Netmarble have released a guide on how to beat Scam Hunter.
In the official guide provided to CBR, Netmarble advises players to “pay special attention” to Taeshik's surprise attack from behind and his special skill when throwing daggers. When his HP is above 70% (called Phase 1 of the battle), Taeshik's Hyper Armor will be applied, rendering knockback and aerial attacks ineffective. Taeshik is also immune to incapacitating status effects. Phase 2 (Under 70% HP) sees Taeshik apply Disguise and Frenzy Skills stacked on top of each other. The latter increases his attack power, prioritizing defense.

Solo Leveling's Kang Taeshik is very strong but can counterattack
However, Taeshik's Camouflage Skill is what needs the most consideration. During this phase, players should move in a wide range to avoid being hit. About a second after he disappears, activating the Extreme Evasion skill provides the perfect opportunity to counterattack. Taeshik's attack power increases even more after using Camouflage due to the stacked Berserk. The player can tell when he is in this state by the “evil black smoke” around him.
