The popular Solo Leveling has gotten a whole new look in its upcoming Season 2, featuring never-before-seen footage of Jinwoo Sung at this year's Aniplex Online Fest ahead of the anime's premiere.
Solo Leveling kicked off its anime activities at Aniplex Online Fest 2024 with an exciting new look for Season 2. The new release comes with a special message from the series' representatives and the voice actors for Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-in, Taito Ban and Reina Ueda, respectively, urging fans to look forward to the upcoming season, revealed to air in January 2025Fans can check out the new release below, which also features the official look of the season.
New Solo Leveling season 2 trailer shows off more of the series' fast-paced action
It was also recently revealed that the first two episodes of Solo Leveling Season 2 will be released in theaters in South Korea and Japan later this year, with other countries to be announced later. Officially titled “Solo Leveling ReAwakening,” the screening will also feature a special edition of Solo Leveling Season 1, joining the growing trend of director’s cuts and anime compilation films, such as the recently revealed Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK.
Other announcements at Aniplex Online Fest will include new information on anticipated titles like WIND BREAKER, Blue Exorcist, and Fate/strange Fake, with popular music artist LiSA set to perform live at the event. Ahead of the return, fans can watch the first trailer for Solo Leveling Season 2, which features Jinwoo battling Baruka, one of the Ice Elves. The season’s opening theme is once again composed by Hiroyuki Sawano, titled “4eVR.”
Crunchyroll streams Solo Leveling, describing the series as follows: “They say that whatever doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but that’s not true for the world’s weakest hunter Sung Jinwoo. After being brutally slaughtered by monsters in a high-level dungeon, Jinwoo returns to the System, a program only he can see that helps him level up in every way.
