Shueisha's MANGA Plus service celebrates more than 28,000,000 app downloads in May 2024 with a new limited-time feature to support the publisher's manga artists. The new feature allows users to support their favorite creators by watching ads in the app and will be available in 9 languages worldwide.
This feature will be active starting 12:00pm JST on June 3, 2024. Users will have the option to watch after reading a chapter on the MANGA Plus app. A portion of the advertising revenue generated will then be distributed directly to the respective comic creators.

The MANGA Plus application service was first launched by Shueisha on January 28, 2019 and is operated directly by the publisher's editorial department in Japan to support its creators. It features many titles from Weekly Shonen Jump, as well as select titles from Jump Square, Weekly Young Jump, Tonari no Young Jump, and V Jump.
Shueisha launched MANGA Plus MAX subscription service with standard and premium plans in October 2023.
MANGA Plus is available for access worldwide, except Japan, China, and Korea. It is available for download on iOS and Android devices.
