The long-awaited third season of the anime “Re:ZERO – Getting Life in Another World” has launched successfully, beating “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” to become the highest-rated isekai anime.
Although the Fall 2024 (October – December) anime season has only just begun, Re:ZERO has already received rave reviews, surpassing the second part of the second season “Mushoku Tensei” on the popular website MyAnimeList. Currently, the new season of Re:ZERO has a score of 8.96, ranking first among anime in this genre.
On the other hand, the second season of “Mushoku Tensei” came in second place with a rating of 8.65. The next place belongs to the first part of the second season Mushoku Tensei which has a score of 8.45, taking third place in this ranking. The surprising turn in the ranking position in the competition between the two isekai giants has attracted the attention of fans. It even generated heated discussion on social media, especially on Twitter, where the premiere of the third season of the Re:ZERO anime was one of the main trends.
The first episode of Re:ZERO season 3 was released on October 4, shown as a 90-minute movie, a special format similar to the episode shown during Anime Expo 2024 and in special screenings. in Japan at the end of August.
